The picture I am using for "The Universal Man" was redrawn from the illustration entitled, "The Mystery of the Microcosm," from "Secret Teachings of All Ages," by Manly Hall.  This originated from Cesariano's edition of "Vitruvius."  To quote from Cesariano:

"The Logos or soul of the world according to Plato, the Greek Hermes, and the Christ, according to the Christian Gnostics, are all one and the same as the Hebrew Adam Kadmon, who is the third person of the cabalistic triad."

The Ideas of Paracelsus were presented in the internet page titled, "The Macrocosm-Microcosm, Relationship," by Alex Soojung, Kim Pang.  The quotations were from Paracelsus', "Selected Writing," edited by Jolande Jacobi.  (Bollingen Series, 28, New York, Partheon, 1951).  To quote:

"The macrocosm-microcosm relationship was one of the central ideas of Renaissance natural philosophy.......Put simply, the idea holds that the rules and forces shaping and governing the human body are the same as those shaping and governing the entire Universe: in a sense, each of us carries around, each of us is, a miniature cosmos.......The whole world surrounds man as a circle surrounds one point.  From this it follows that all things are related to this one point, no differently from an apple seed which is surrounded and preserved by the fruit, and which draws its sustenance from it.......Similarly, man is a seed and the world is his apple; and just as the seed fares in the apple, so does man fare in the world, which surrounds him.......You should look upon man as a part of nature whose end lies in heaven.  In the heavens you can see man, each part for itself; for man is made of heaven, and the matter out of which man was created also indicates to you the pattern after which he was formed.......Heaven is man, and man is heaven, and all men together are the one heaven, and heaven is nothing but one man".

My visual idea of "The Universal Man" originated in the time of Plato and Pythagoras, from the drawing of Vitruvius, the concepts of "Microcosm" and the "Macrocosm, from the time of the Renaissance and the drawing by da Vinci.  Mankind would not understand these concepts until the last hundred years.  There has been a groundswell of desire in recent years to grasp the idea that all is Spirit and spiritual.  To do this we need to throw out the old concept that matter and Mind can join together.  When we do this we find that Man is one with his Universe.

Those who can join with me in the "Society Of The Universal Man" can join hands with all those Souls who glimpsed the fact that God is not separate from his Universe or separate from Man but that Man is the very expression of God.  Therefore we must know that Man and Woman are God expressed individually.
